The big trade show drew a TON of photographers from all over the world, and I was lucky enough to have some of my work on display during the show. Simply Canvas held a national wedding photo competition for 2008 and I was chosen as the grand prize winner, with the prize being a $2,500 extreme studio makeover! Here's a quick snapshot of me next to my winning image (Thanks to my buddy, and great photographer, Chris Onstott for snapping this shot):

You didn't tell us you won a studio makeover! That's so cool! Can't wait to see some before and after pictures.
That is all exciting. everything in your post. Especially the studio makeover! And I love that picture of Beth and I so no I don't hate you for putting it up :-)
Congrats, on your WPPI winnings. I remember seeing that image when you first posted it and thinking of the George Cloney movie, "Oh, Brother, Where Art Thou". - you captured a moment back in time -
